Find out why the return trip fails
If you can pick up an egg in Steal Animal Egg but struggle to get it home, check what interrupts the return. You might need movement progress, a better route or a target whose chase you can handle. These problems can look similar. Buying a boost does not automatically solve all three.
The official game description includes eating food, and the gameplay shows movement progression alongside the table routine. Paid passes advertise speed benefits too. Neither the gameplay nor those descriptions gives you one speed value that makes every retrieval safe.
Learn a route before measuring speed
Pick a nearby egg you can reach consistently. Walk or run the return path without carrying anything first, then try the retrieval. Keep the target and starting point similar so you can notice what changes.
During the attempt, ask:
- Did you hesitate after picking up the egg?
- Did you turn into an obstacle or crowded area?
- Did you know where you intended to place it?
- Did the pursuer reach you even on a clean return?
If the pursuer catches you on a clean return, you have more reason to work on movement than if you took an avoidable wrong turn. Use a short route you can repeat to tell those problems apart.
Do not call a path completely safe after one success. The demonstrated game includes pursuit during egg collection, and another player can affect the situation. The stealing guide covers preparing the pickup and return as one task.
Use the food routine as a progression check
The demonstration shows sitting, ordering, receiving food and eating. It later shows faster movement, while another narrator corrects a counter they had first mistaken for money to speed.
Read the current label on your own counter. Record it before a food cycle, finish the interaction, then check the same value again. That is more dependable than assuming the food’s appearance tells you its gain.
Afterward, repeat the familiar route and check whether the trip improves. That comparison does not give you a precise speed multiplier from the video. See the food guide if you have not completed the table sequence yet.
Do not confuse three different timers
Movement, egg growth and income have different roles in the loop.
| Issue | First place to inspect |
|---|---|
| You cannot reach home with the egg | Route and movement progression |
| A planted egg is not ready | The egg’s readiness display |
| You lack upgrade money | Active pets and displayed income |
| There is nowhere to place an egg | Yard capacity |
Match the benefit to the obstacle you encounter. Faster egg growth concerns the egg, rather than your character’s movement. Double income changes your earnings; it does not make the return safe.
What the paid speed benefits say
Official pass listings checked on October 3, 2026 included these advertised benefits:
| Pass | Advertised speed-related benefit | Listed price |
|---|---|---|
| VIP | Permanent 1.5x speed, alongside a pet and money benefit | 99 Robux |
| Infinity Trail | Permanent 30x run speed, alongside 10x cash | 799 Robux |
The table lists advertised product benefits, rather than a movement benchmark. The descriptions do not establish how the boosts stack together. Do not multiply their numbers and count on that result as your speed.
Check the live purchase window, ownership and exact description before buying. The VIP guide and Infinity Trail guide explain each package separately.
Choose the next target with the return in mind
Once you make progress, try a slightly harder retrieval. Avoid jumping straight to the most dramatic egg on screen. A target is worthwhile when you can finish the trip and use what you bring home.
If the next attempt fails, note where it breaks down. Adjust your route if you get stuck; plan your yard capacity if you reach home with no room. Check those problems before assuming you need more speed again.
FAQ
How do I increase speed without immediately buying a pass?
Explore the demonstrated food and table progression. Check the labeled value before and after completing the routine, then compare a familiar route.
What speed do I need for a guaranteed escape?
Judge your speed by the deliveries you complete; this guide supplies no guaranteed-escape threshold. Your target, route, pursuit and other players can change the attempt.
Does x2 Growth make my character run faster?
Its advertised benefit concerns growth of planted eggs. It is not a character movement boost.
Do VIP and Infinity Trail speed boosts stack?
Check what each description says about the benefit. Those descriptions do not give a combined stacking rule, so multiplying the advertised values will not establish your resulting speed.
Why do I still lose eggs after moving faster?
Check the point of failure. Hesitation, obstacles, pursuit or a crowded yard can interrupt a run even when movement has improved.
